Creating an Engaging Library Space at Morecambe Primary School
OSI recently completed a vibrant new library installation at Morecambe Primary School, helping transform the space into an engaging environment designed to inspire reading, creativity and imaginative learning.
Working closely with the school and our manufacturing partners, the project brought together bespoke reading spaces, mobile library storage and flexible furniture solutions to create a modern library tailored to the needs of primary education.
The completed installation features a striking treehouse reading area, cosy breakout nooks, integrated storage and colourful learning zones designed to encourage exploration, collaboration and independent learning.

The centrepiece of the installation is the bespoke treehouse-inspired reading area, designed to create an immersive and engaging environment where pupils can relax, read and explore.
Alongside the custom-built structures, the space incorporates soft seating areas, integrated shelving, mobile bookcases and flexible learning furniture, allowing the library to adapt to a variety of classroom and breakout activities.
The combination of natural wood finishes, vibrant colours and playful design elements helps create a welcoming environment that supports both literacy development and student wellbeing.
