Delivering Modern Educational Spaces for Padgate Academy
Padgate Academy approached OSI as a longstanding trusted supplier to support the development of several modern educational spaces across the school, including IT classrooms, fitted learning environments and meeting areas designed to support both staff and students.
Having worked with the academy across previous projects, OSI was able to work closely with the school team to understand the practical requirements of each environment, helping ensure the finished spaces would support day-to-day teaching, collaboration and long-term usability.
The project involved a combination of furniture supply, fitted solutions and technology installations, with layouts, finishes and furniture selections carefully planned through ongoing consultation and site meetings to ensure each area met the school’s operational and aesthetic requirements.

BOARDROOM REFURBISHMENT
A Professional Space for Meetings & Collaboration
Padgate Academy’s boardroom was upgraded to create a modern and professional meeting environment suitable for staff collaboration, leadership meetings and visiting stakeholders.
The installation centred around a large 5000mm rectangular-shaped boardroom table in a chestnut wood finish, complete with integrated cable management to support modern meeting technology. This was paired with high-back black faux leather meeting chairs featuring chrome cantilever frames for comfort and durability.
ICT SUITE INSTALLATION
Creating an Engaging Learning Environment
The ICT suite was designed to provide students with a modern, functional and engaging learning environment suitable for day-to-day classroom use.
OSI installed Veta benching desks in a white wood finish alongside vibrant sun yellow Postura chairs, helping create a bright and collaborative atmosphere while maintaining practicality and ergonomic support.
To further support teaching and presentations, the space was enhanced with a HiVision Eco Series 75” display screen, providing modern interactive learning capability.
FOOD TECHNOLOGY REFURBISHMENT
Complete Strip-Out & Refurbishment
One of the largest elements of the project involved the complete refurbishment of the food technology classroom.
Works included the removal of existing fittings, flooring, wall tiling and blinds before the installation of new fitted furniture, worktops and storage areas. Additional electrical works and refurbishment of adjoining preparation areas helped create a modern and practical teaching environment suitable for everyday educational use.
The completed space now provides students and staff with a durable, high-quality learning environment designed to support practical teaching activities for years to come.
