Supporting Beamont Collegiate Academy’s Dining Hall Expansion
When Beamont Academy, part of The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT), began expanding its dining facilities, the school required a practical and modern furniture solution capable of supporting increased student capacity and improving the overall dining experience.
Following a recommendation through an existing relationship with the TCAT Estates team, OSI worked alongside the school to help furnish the newly extended dining space with durable, high-capacity canteen furniture suited to the demands of a busy secondary school environment.
The completed space now provides students with a bright, welcoming and highly functional dining area designed to support daily use for years to come.

MODERN SCHOOL DINING FURNITURE
Durable, High-Capacity Dining Solutions
The project centred around creating a practical dining environment capable of supporting high levels of daily student use while maintaining a clean, modern appearance.
Large bench dining units were selected to maximise seating efficiency while helping improve circulation throughout the space. Complementary poseur-height seating areas were also introduced to create more flexible breakout-style dining spaces for students.
The finished environment combines durability, practicality and contemporary styling, helping the school create a dining space that feels both functional and welcoming.
CANTEEN REFURBISHMENT
Creating a More Efficient Student Dining Environment
As part of the wider dining hall extension, the furniture layout was carefully considered to help improve student flow and maximise usable seating capacity.
The open-plan layout allows students to move easily throughout the dining area while maintaining clear walkways and flexible seating arrangements for different group sizes.
With robust materials and hard-wearing finishes throughout, the space has been designed to withstand the demands of busy school dining periods while remaining easy to clean and maintain.
