Creating Flexible Learning Spaces at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy
OSI partnered with Laisterdyke Leadership Academy to deliver a multi-space refurbishment project designed to support modern teaching, ICT learning and independent study throughout the school.
The project centred around the transformation of the academy’s ICT suite into a flexible environment capable of functioning seamlessly as both a dedicated ICT room and a general classroom space.
Alongside the ICT refurbishment, OSI also completed upgrades to classrooms across the school and delivered a full library transformation, helping create cohesive, engaging and future-ready learning environments throughout the academy.

A Flexible Space for ICT & Classroom Learning
Working closely with the academy, OSI developed a tailored ICT solution focused on adaptability, usability and long-term durability.
A bespoke plinth was installed around the central work benching, creating a clean and cohesive layout that supports collaborative learning while maximising available floor space and improving circulation throughout the room.
The completed environment allows the space to function effectively for both ICT-based teaching and wider classroom activities, providing flexibility for day-to-day educational use.
CLASSROOM FURNITURE
Durable Furniture Designed for Everyday Education
To complement the refurbished learning environments, OSI supplied Jet Black Postura® chairs from KI — a market-leading education seating solution recognised for its ergonomic comfort, durability and contemporary appearance.
The sleek black finish helped create a modern and professional aesthetic while ensuring the furniture remained robust enough for the demands of busy classroom environments.
LIBRARY REFURBISHMENT

As part of the wider refurbishment programme, OSI also delivered a complete library makeover designed to encourage reading, independent study and collaborative learning.
The updated library environment introduced a more welcoming and functional space for students, helping create consistency across the academy’s wider interior learning environments.
