Creating a Flexible & Efficient School Dining Space
OSI recently supplied and installed new dining furniture at Penistone Grammar School, helping create a bright and adaptable dining environment designed to support everyday student use while maximising the available space.
The project focused on delivering practical furniture solutions capable of supporting busy lunchtime periods while allowing the space to be easily reconfigured for assemblies, events and wider school activities.

CAD SPACE PLANNING
Supporting the Project with CAD Design Services
Before installation, OSI supported the project using our free CAD design service, helping plan furniture layouts, confirm clearances and ensure efficient circulation throughout the dining space.
This allowed the school to visualise how the furniture would operate within the environment while ensuring the area remained practical, comfortable and easy to navigate during busy periods.
MOBILE DINING SOLUTIONS
Flexible Furniture for Multi-Use School Spaces
To support the school’s requirement for flexible use of space, OSI supplied 12-Seater TSU Tables featuring Maple tabletops with Apple Green seating.
The fold-away design allows furniture to be stored efficiently when not in use, enabling the dining area to be quickly adapted for assemblies, events and other school activities throughout the year.
The finished installation provides generous seating capacity while helping maximise floor space and operational flexibility.
