Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College Breakout Transformation
In September 2023, OSI Office & Educational Furniture worked alongside Triton Construction to help transform the student dining and breakout facilities at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College.
The project focused on creating a vibrant, welcoming environment that balanced durability, comfort and contemporary design, helping turn a previously tired space into a modern student hub.
Featuring colourful Italia stools and bespoke made-to-measure booth seating finished in Agua Paintpot Teal, the finished space delivers both visual impact and practical everyday use.

Working closely with Triton Construction and the college team, the project centred around delivering a space that felt brighter, more engaging and better suited to modern student life.
The combination of colourful seating, natural wood finishes and bespoke booth seating helped create defined social and dining areas while maintaining an open and flexible layout.
Through specialist manufacturing partners and OSI’s wider supply chain, bespoke elements were developed from the client’s initial concepts through to final installation.
BREAKOUT & DINING REFURBISHMENT
A Vibrant Space for Students to Relax & Socialise
Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College’s breakout and dining area was transformed into a bright, modern student environment designed to encourage collaboration, comfort and everyday social interaction.
The project combined vibrant café-style seating with bespoke made-to-measure booth seating finished in Agua Paintpot Teal, creating a welcoming space full of energy and personality. Lime and Tangerine Italia stools were carefully selected to introduce bold colour throughout the area while maintaining a clean and contemporary feel.
Working alongside Triton Construction, OSI helped bring the college’s vision to life through tailored furniture solutions that balanced durability, practicality and visual impact — turning a previously tired dining area into a modern hub for students and staff alike.

The completed refurbishment has completely transformed the student dining environment at Queen Elizabeth 6th Form College, creating a vibrant and welcoming space that students can comfortably use throughout the day.
By combining bold contemporary seating with bespoke booth solutions, the project successfully balanced practicality, durability and modern aesthetics. The Lime and Tangerine Italia Stools introduced energy and personality into the cafeteria space, while the made-to-measure booth seating provided comfortable collaborative areas that support both social interaction and informal study.
Working closely alongside Triton Construction, the project was delivered smoothly from concept through to installation, helping bring the college’s vision to life and turning a once tired dining area into a modern, engaging hub for students and staff alike.
