Lightweight School Balance Bench – Natural & Coloured Options (BS EN913 Tested)
Designed primarily for school PE use, this lightweight balance bench is a more economical and easy-to-handle alternative to the traditional balance bench, while still providing excellent stability and versatility. Manufactured from selected natural timbers from FSC® / PEFC™ certified sustainable sources, the bench is produced without side rails to minimise weight, making it ideal for frequent handling in busy school environments.
For safety and floor protection, the bench is fitted with hard-wearing, non-marking rubber feet, along with non-marking rubber buttons on the top surface to prevent damage to both the bench and the floor during use or when inverted. A 100mm wide balance rail on the underside enables safe inverted use, expanding the range of balance and coordination activities. A timber batten fixed at one end allows the bench to be securely attached to compatible PE equipment for structured gymnastics set-ups.
All versions are tested to BS EN913, ensuring suitability for educational use.
