With a full 88 velocity sensitive keys, the SXP8 allows you to play and learn without frustration or limitation. The graded hammer action makes for a truly enjoyable playing experience, and aided by impressive 81 note polyphony, the SXP8 digital piano doesn’t place any limitations on the player.
Get playing right away!
A sleek modern cabinet design with a plexiglass music rack and three pedals is easy to set up at home or on the go, allowing you to get playing right away. This set is smart too, finished in black satin and with shiny metallic pedals. Better still, at just 20kg you can remove the piano itself when desired and put it anywhere you like, before returning it to the comfort of the stand whenever you like.
Handy features for learners
The keyboard can be divided into two equal parts so you can play duets with your friends, or more commonly to allow both students and teachers to make the most of lesson time by playing at the same pitch! If you want to practice discreetly and stay in the zone, a headphone output is included, which you can plug in to and play “silently”. 60 on-board song demos are also great for encouraging young learners. An easy-to-use control desk allows you to access these, or any of the 90 onboard voices at will, and adapt the reverb, chorus, transposition and tuning of the keyboard.
Sophisticated grand piano voice
Of special note is the Stereo Grand Piano voice, which features 4 levels of sampling to allow nuanced, layered playing to really shine through, especially with 2 impressively powerful 25W speakers. This is not only crucial in the development of a student, but for more experienced pianists looking to find satisfaction in a digital piano. The stand features built in chrome expression pedals with red felt surround, looking and feeling superb.

The SXP8 features a comprehensive and fun set of 90 selectable instrument voices, supplemented by 128 General Midi voices which are always available for MIDI playing. A range of other impressive functions make the Performance digital piano an even more attractive offering: On board Bluetooth gives you control from your phone or tablet; master tuning between 415.3 and 466.1Hz provides excellent utility for accompaniment playing; transposition between -6 and +5 semitones lets you play your favourite songs in the most comfortable key at all times; you can even record yourself and save it for later!
